So a book written by a guy about a guy has guy friendly themes, and that's a problem because? Can you imagine how shittily men would treat Ready Player One if it was all femme stuff?— jane frie(n)dhoff (@JFriedhoff) December 11, 2017

I read Ready Player One and I enjoyed it. It wasn't the greatest book ever, it was just some fun escapist fiction. Why can't people just leave it at that. It's like if someone is successful they have to be torn down because you aren't.
(BTW if you want to totally change the tone of Ready Player One read the short story Andy Weir wrote about Nolan Sorrento before he worked for IOI)
