Tesla set up an elaborate "neighborhood" display on the Universal Studios lot in Los Angeles. The company unveiled several model homes with Tesla Powerwalls mounted on the side and a variety of custom roofs with photovoltaic cells disguised as tiles.
"You really need to make solar panels as appealing as electric cars have become," Tesla CEO Elon Musk told a crowd of several hundred people as the sun set on the artificial neighborhood. "The goal is to have a roof that's less than the installed cost of a roof plus electricity."I actually like this idea and hop it catches on.
Backchannel - How Trumpism Threatens Silicon Valley -
Trumpism stunned America with its exhibition of a substantial, revanchist slice of white working class voters who experience politics as a zero-sum game — a group that would rather burn the house down than witness the economic and cultural ascendancy of other identities. These are voters whose faith in institutions and procedural liberalism has collapsed; who refuse to trust the economic data on which the world runs and will not accept the outcome of the election; who have nothing to lose from being judged on the internet. And they are precisely the voters most likely to resist Silicon Valley’s attempts to embed technology into public life. Not gonna comment other than to say maybe this guy should talk to some actual Trump voters.

3. How easy is it to configure rulesets and tune the solution once deployed? Aside from the fact that threats are continually evolving, if there are activities that appear malicious elsewhere but are benign in my environment, I need a way to filter those out.
...
7. How does your solution integrate with my existing security infrastructure? I have a complex ecosystem of products deployed and yours needs to play nice with it.
Number 7 is a question that doesn't get asked often enough in my experience.
