Is empathy really the way we want to make our judicial decisions? What is the judge has empathy for pedophiles? or rapists? or he just says, "Man, your wife is a bitch I can see why you popped her one."?
I'm thinking maybe we want someone who is a little more inclined to actually - you know - follow the law.
He did say it as reported by MSNBC on July 17, 2007. I missed it then. Are we really sure this guy taught at a law school much less graduated from one?
