Space Shuttle Launch

I just watched the launch on Fox (something I haven't done in quite a while) and I started thinking about watching the first flight tests of the Enterprise way back when, 1976 - 1977. Sometimes it just amazes me how far everything else has progressed but our space technology is still basically the same as when we flew to the moon.

Almost enough to make me wonder if Andrew Swann isn't on to something in his Moreau stories.

Not really, but still they are a good set of stories and is does seem like something should have broken loose long ago.
