Update: About 30 minutes after I wrote this last night and 3 minutes after I sent blogcatalog a pretty nasty e-mail I got a notification that they had approved my blog. I don't know if there is a cause and effect relationship or not but the button stays for the time being.
I don't know if anyone noticed the blog catalog button over in my sidebar or not, but it's outta here now. I was looking for a way to increase my traffic so I submitted to blogcatalog.com as a political blog. I was declined, no reason given. I inquired and got no reason, inquired a second time and didn't even get a response. I figure that obviously they don't want my blog so screw 'em I am not going to give them a free link.
