Doesn't this sum up the world in whole?

“You can accuse the Americans of many things, such as hamfistedness, but you can’t accuse them of not addressing a situation when it arises. While we had a strategy of evasion, the Americans just went in and addressed the problem.”


The above is from an article in the London Times and stands in marked contrast to the criticism previously leveled against the American approach in Iraq by the British.

When you think about it though isn't this the way the world works in general?
