A few months ago I read The Phoenix Project which is kind of a textbook on lean manufacturing, agile development, DevOps and IT integration / management disguised as a novel. During the course of this I was introduced to the idea of a Kanban board, by name, for the first time. Today I was at Powell's Books and found Real-World Kanban: Do Less, Accomplish More with Lean Thinking started taking a look at it and I have come to the conclusion that Kanban is a 3M conspiracy designed to sell whiteboards and multicolored post-it notes.
Still it had pretty pictures so I bought it.
Good on you 3M you have sucked me into your plot for world domination.
