Not the slow job growth part, but the unemployment rate. Unless they are just flat out excluding whole swaths of the population, and I am not just talking about the people who have stopped looking, these numbers don't work. I base that claim on the fact that every Economics book I have ever read maintains that the US has to add 300,000+ jobs per month just to keep up with population growth to prevent the unemployment rate from rising.
