The genealogy of this post is a little convoluted - Topless Robot had a post about the nine most awesome non Star Trek Shatner moments. That was picked up by Ace and Shatner's performance made it above the fold. Now this performance has been spoofed so many times that it is hard to keep track of them all but the best has to be Stewie Griffin followed closely by the Futurama episode where Zapp Branigann does a spoken word version of Lola.
