Around the moronosphere in 60 minutes 4/8/09

D = S - The Cost of Global Warming In Pictures

Garnering Right Ideas - From A Liberal - Obama’s staffing problems are blatant — from that bleating boy of a treasury secretary to what appears to be a total vacuum where a chief of protocol should be. There has been one needless gaffe after another

Becky - You're So Vain - "This is the moment that the world is waiting for...I have become a symbol of the possibility of America returning to our best traditions.”

Locusts & Honey - Super Friends with Benefits

Other Stuff:

Al Jazeera - Iraqi Shoe Throwers Jail Term Cut- Good. I don't agree with him or what he did but I thought 3 years was excessive.

CNN - Ship Carrying Americans Hijacked - and from the Obviousness department: "They [pirates] are going where we are not; they are looking for targets where there is limited coalition presence," according to a U.S. military briefing document shown to CNN." Really? I thought maybe they were sitting on their asses watching the ship get hijacked while drinking coffee and reading porn. Oh well it's CNN.

Yahoo News - Cyberspies penetrate electrical grid: report - WASHINGTON (Reuters) -

Cyberspies have penetrated the U.S. electrical grid and left behind software programs that could be used to disrupt the system, the Wall Street Journal reported on Wednesday.

The spies came from China, Russia and other countries, and were believed to be on a mission to navigate the U.S. electrical system and its controls, the newspaper said, citing current and former U.S. national security officials.

Gay Patriot - Why the Left Loves Barney Frank - The most telling thing about the exchange between Barney Frank and a conservative student ... questioning him in a public forum at Harvard is how quick the Massachusetts Democrat is to attack.

How dare someone pose such a tough question! How dare someone ask him to consider if he might have done something wrong. Barney’s used to getting softball questions from an adoring media. Tough questions mean someone is accusing him. They’re part of some nefarious right-wing plot!

My Take on the video is here
