We are right on the verge of a crash here

I am looking at the Dow Jone Industrial Average and it is down over 5% and voting hasn't finished on the bailout proposal yet. If it fails I am afraid we may see a 1000 point sell off and a market collapse. If we do we can kiss any hope of conservative government goodbye for at least 40 years.
