You see it's the Republicans who are suppressing this potentially volatile tape, apparently to simultaneously destroy both Barack and Hillary. I think the way this is supposed to work is that Hillary gets knocked out of the running because we Republicans refuse to release the one tape that could possibly save her, then in October we start shopping this around to the networks.
Rove, you magnificent evil bastard.
The problem with that plan is that is assumes the networks would be interested.
Look, I have little doubt that Michelle Obama has made comments of this nature. Her Barack as a black man can be shot at the gas station and first time I am proud of America quotes stray close to that line, and the Obama's 20 year presence at Trinity United certainly show that they weren't afraid to wallow in that mud, but until the tape is produced it is all speculation. Given that people who want to excuse this supposed statement are certainly justified.
