I was right the movie Beowulf deviated so significantly from the poem that it shouldn't be allowed to be called Beowulf. Of course if Wikipedia had posted this portion of their entry earlier I wouldn't have had to go and read the poem to prove it to myself. (just kidding I would have read the poem anyway but possibly at a later date)
