Terror in the Skies - The Report

Back in June 2004 (before I began blogging) Annie Jacobsen of WomensWallStreet.com published an article entitled Terror in the Skies, Again? in which she related her experiences on a flight between Detroit and Los Angeles.

After causing a stir with her report Ms. Jacobsen was "debunked" by Salon.com among other as a hysterical nut who panicked at the site of Middle Eastern men. She however continued to maintain the accuracy of her account.

Today on Patterico's Pontifications there is a link to the DHS Inspector General report . Which essentially corroborates her version of events.

Department of Homeland Security still maintains that this was not a terrorist dry run however I find it interesting that the promoter was involved in a similar incident also involving 8 men with suspicious behavior (although there were 13 passengers 8 of them were acting suspiciously in this case) including carrying a cellphone into the bathroom and remaining for 10 minutes.

It may be that this is all a big todo about nothing, but I find it curious that the same individual is involved in two such incidents within 6 months of each other and only a year after receiving permanent resident status.

I wonder what Ron Paul would say about this?

Update: Michelle Malkin has a lot more.
