Intellipedia - Intelligence Work The Wikipedia Way

via LA Times

Major criticisms of the intelligence community post 9/11 and after the Invasion of Iraq was a lack of intelligence sharing between agencies and a downplaying of dissenting views.

With that in mind when I saw this article in the LA Times my first thought was "Cool".

My second thought was, "I wonder if they are going to be like Wikipedia and allow anyone to write anything they want on any subject they want?"

Fortunately that won't be the case.  Users will have to attach their names to their input.  A good thing in my opinion.  I don't know of you have ever been to a Wikipedia talk page on a controversial person or subject, but the level of discourse rapidly descends to, "Your a poopie head", "No you are", levels. Not conducive to good intelligence work in my boring and predictable opinion.

Anyway read the article it's interesting.
