So on the same day that it's announced that ABC will give into pressure from Clinton Administration officals ,and alter scenes which reflect the miserable failure of their counterterrorism policies, the Senate Select Committee on Intelligence is releasing two parts (of five) of Phase II of their report on Prewar Intelligence. It will be interesting to see what that report shows in comparison to what has been claimed and whether that will blunt any of the criticism against this film.
I agree with many others that the main objectionable scene in "the Path to 9/11" (Sandy Berger hanging up when a request to capture bin Laden is made) should be modified. It appears to reflect the reality of what was going on in the Clinton Administration, but in an overly dramatic (and dramatized) way, in other words it is a composite scene. Maybe they can replace it with scenes of the men training and Sandy Berger scribbling No on all the memos, as shown in pages 108-143 of the 9/11 Commission Report.
Note: I haven't seen the movie I am basing my opinions on the scenes in question off descriptions I have read.
