GRID is the GIAC Response and Industrial Defense certification and deals with Active Defense, Threat Intelligence and Incident Response for industrial / ICS networks. It is the second of three ICS centered exams that GIAC offers (with associated SANS courses). It was a tough damn test. I have previously taken the GICSP (the first in the GIAC ICS series) and didn't find that too tough, I also took the CISSP in October. This test was tougher than both. I'm glad it's over now I can work on the GPEN.
