Reading list update:
Finished Kevin Mitnick's "Ghost in the Wires"
Not a bad book. Gave a pretty good insight into what Mitnick was thinking in the days leading to his arrest. He made a lot of choices that I personally wouldn't have and I felt his justifications were weak and that he took horrendous advantage of his mother and grandmother, but he still comes off as fairly sympathetic.
Also finished Michael Lewis's "Boomerang"
An OK book. Fairly amusing and offers some insights into the current financial crisies (post Sept 2008) but nothing exceptionally deep.
"Simply Java Programming"
This just seems to fit well with the Java programming classes that WGU is requiring. It's a bit dated easy to read and follow.
Why Nations Fail: The Origins of Power, Prosperity, and Poverty
I am about 25% of the way through this one and so far I am pretty impressed (in part because the authors call out Jared Diamond of Guns, Germs and Steel) I'll keep you updated.
