There’s a feature embedded in many of their sites called click-to-call that allows a hungry, and quite possibly stoned, mobile surfer to initiate a phone order directly from the Webpage. According to Duda Mobile, which has helped hundreds of local pizzerias go online, the take up rate on click-to-call is nearly 35 percent.
Makes sense. If I wasn't a neo-luddite I would own a smart phone and use an app like this. As is however I don't and instead have to rely on remembering the number of my local pizza parlor (which closed after they instituted a $15.00 minimum order for delivery and a delivery charge (Jackasses!!!!)) or go to a Pagliaccis or a Sbarros for a slice or wait til I get home.
