Feel like helping some people out?

The warehouse that houses Pierce County (WA) Toys for Tots was damaged in a fire today.  It contained approximately 25,000 toys, or about half of what are normally distributed in any given year.  Efforts were made to protect the inventory from water and smoke, but at this point they aren’t sure how much will be salvageable.  If you have a couple extra bucks and you want to donate to a worthy cause I suggest sending a check to Pierce County Toys for Tots • 6824 19th Street W #139 • University Place, WA 98466.  (The director of Pierce County Toys for Tots is Det. Ed Troyer of the Pierce County Sheriffs Dept. If you want to do something other than cash I am sure they would love to hear from you)

Just as a point of interest this is the same warehouse that was used to house about 300,000 pounds of relief materials for Japanese earthquake victims.  Those materials were shipped out about 2 weeks ago.
