Bloomberg - Don't worry about terrorism

14 years after the first World Trade Center bombing
12 years after the Oklahoma City bombing.
11 years after the Khobar Tower bombing
9 years after the Africa embassy bombings
7 years after the USS Cole bombing
6 years after 9/11
3 years after the Madrid bombings
2 years after the London 7/7 bombings

After all this Mayor (and possible Presidential candidate) Michael Bloomberg has this to say:

While questions continue to arise about the alleged plot to blow up a fuel pipeline beneath JFK Airport and surrounding neighborhoods, some are questioning why New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg hasn't had a louder voice since the plot was foiled on Saturday.

On Monday, Bloomberg finally weighed in, but his response was not what some would have expected.

"There are lots of threats to you in the world. There's the threat of a heart attack for genetic reasons. You can't sit there and worry about everything. Get a life," he said.

I'm thinking that as mayor of NYC he should worry a little less about whether I am in danger of a heart attack and a little more about whether some ass wipe with a ryder truck full of diesel and fertilizer is gonna try and blow up the Empire State Building or the Statue of Liberty or something.
